Carlos Hernanz

Carlos joined Cisco Systems in 1995 and is currently the architecture lead for Datacenter & Cloud, Mass-Scale Infrastructure, Routed Optical Networking & optics, Full Stack Observability, and Business Architectures with the EMEA Partner Enablement team. Prior to that, he spent most of his career at Cisco as Senior SE Mgr with the Global Service Providers team, leading the presales engineering teams of the Telefonica account worldwide, NOS in Portugal and other SPs in the EMEA South cluster. Carlos is recognized as a skilled, resilient, committed, experienced and trusted professional, with lots of experience on strategic account planning activities and a solid sales orientation. He’s a demonstrated team worker with strong design, critical and creative thinking abilities. Long experience in coaching, mentoring and leading highly skilled, senior professionals. Before joining Cisco, Carlos also worked for Sprint International as Network Operations Director for Spain and Portugal, Payma Comunicaciones as presales engineer, and Bressel S.A as research and development engineer. Carlos holds an Industrial Engineering Bachelor (ICAI) and a MBA (ICADE) both with Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Madrid, Spain.
